Are you looking for a great prenatal (pregnancy massage) in the Humble/Atascocita, Texas area? Look no further than Natural Forces Massage! We have a highly trained massage therapist team ready to take great care of you.

What exactly is a Prenatal massage?

Prenatal massage is therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. It enhances the function of muscles and joints, improves circulation and general body tone, and relieves mental and physical fatigue.

Why should you choose Natural Forces Massage for this?

Pregnancy massage is very beneficial because it helps the future mom to be as comfortable and pain free as possible through the process. Unfortunately there are a lot of massage therapist out there offering this service that shouldn't be. Some massage therapist are very timid and inexperienced treating the client as if they are fragile.
Here at Natural Forces Massage we don't have that problem.

How do you know if you are picking the right Massage Therapist?

One way to know if the massage place you are choosing is experienced in prenatal massage is if they tell you they wont work on clients who are not past their first trimester! As long as you are healthy and not having bad morning sickness than it is perfectly safe receiving massage therapy in the first tri-mester.

Does a Prenatal Massage have to be Light Pressure?

As mentioned before a lot of massage therapist treat their prenatal client like they are fragile. As a result the client doesn't get the relief they need. Now we are not saying to get a deep tissue massage while pregnant! However, as long as the massage therapist washes out the muscle (spreads blood flow) and relaxes it after then trigger point therapy can be done. If you were doing things like working out or getting massages before you became pregnant, then your body can still handle it. For this reason it is best to set up a treatment plan with your massage therapist.

What is a treatment plan?

The best way to explain this is when you begin received prenatal massages you are building a relationship with that therapist. For example in the beginning the therapist might start a little lighter to see how your body responds. After which they can adjust from there.

Other benefits from Prenatal Massage

Prenatal massage has so many benefits! Some of which include: helping pain by relaxing the nerves and improving circulation, helps insomnia, aids in reduced swelling, and much more. Plus it feels good!

Who Should Not Receive Botox?

Pregnant or nursing women should not receive Botox injections. Patients with neuromuscular diseases such as ALS and Myasthenia Gravis should consult with their doctor before receiving Botox injections because of increased risk of serious side effects.

Do Men Seek Botox Treatments?

Absolutely! Many men enjoy the benefits of Botox. Most likely, some of the men you know have received Botox injections. At Smooth Assurance, we welcome men as clients and want you to feel comfortable in our office. We would love to meet with you to discuss your concerns. A consultation is always free and there is never an obligation to purchase any procedure or product.

What Is Botox

Botox is an aesthetic medicine that is injected by a trained professional to reduce the appearance of moderate to severe lines and wrinkles.

How Does Botox Work?

Botox is injected directly into the muscles. It blocks nerve impulses which reduces muscle activity that causes lines to form.

Who Will Perform The Injections

At Smooth Assurance, an experienced registered nurse who has received special training in cosmetic injections will administer all Botox injections.

When Will I See Botox Results?

Usually, you will begin to see results from Botox within 3 days. It is not uncommon for it to take up to 2 weeks for the full effect. Lines can continue to improve for up to 30 days. Results generally last 3 to 4 months and vary by individual.

Are Botox Injections Painful?

There is usually minimal pain involved with Botox injections. Ice can be applied to the area, or a topical anesthetic can be applied 30 to 40 minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment. Most people do not require an anesthetic for Botox injections.

How Much Botox Will I Need?

Botox is dosed by the unit. Because all patients are different, not everyone will need the same amount. Typically the area between the eyebrows will need 20 to 40 units, upper forehead 10 to 20 units, and the crow’s feet (the outside corners of the eyes) 20 to 40 units. You will discuss with your injector the results that you want and the areas you wish to have injected. You will be given a suggestion for the number of units you should receive for optimal results. At Smooth Assurance, you will always know how many units will be injected before the process is begun so that there are no surprises at checkout.

What Is Botox Recovery Like?

Usually, clients resume normal daily activities following Botox injections. There may be minimal redness and swelling at the injection sites. This is easily covered with makeup. Although every effort is made to avoid it, there can be some mild bruising. Following Botox injections you might have a slight headache for which Tylenol can be taken, with dosing according to package directions. You should not lie down or bend over for 4 hours following the injections.

How Long Does Botox Last?

Botox usually lasts 3 to 4 months. Because everyone is different, the amount of time the Botox lasts will vary from person to person.

Will I Look "Plastic"?

Our goal here at Smooth Assurance is a very natural look. You will still have facial expressions. Others will see a more youthful, rested and relaxed you. No one will know you had Botox injections unless you tell them. It is our desire that you love your results so much that you will want to tell your friends. We love referrals!
